Gently shake or stir one part powdered GME into two parts of warm water. A part is any measuring device you use: teaspoon, tablespoon or cup. Do not use a blender.
Reconstituted GME may be fed at the daily rate of 2 tablespoons (30 mL) of liquid per 4 ounces (115 g) of bodyweight. The daily feeding rate should be divided into equal portions for each feeding. Puppies' needs will vary and this amount may have to be increased or decreased, depending on the individual. Consult your veterinarian for additional advice. Reconstituted GME should be fed at room or body temperature. When a food supplement is desired for growing puppies and show dogs or for supplementing large litters, old, or convalescent dogs, GME Powder should be used at the rate of 1 teaspoonful per 5 lbs.
